The first sign of my Zodiac project: Cancer.
I said in my journal that I will try to complete the series before the end of the year, but I think that might be a bit unrealistic for my standards. It takes quite some work to get it correct and I don't think rushing to get it finished is the correct approach. So I will do it at my own pace and see when it will be completed.
For this work I wanted to get away from the most obvious and often used characteristics of Cancer; so I decided to make the girl's hair in the shape of the pinchers and add this same image here and there in the work (see the top she's wearing; her fringe,..)
While I was working on this, I could not help thinking that the girl said: "Ouch! Why did you do that for?!" and the Cancer replied: "Well, you SAID you wanted more piercings!" "slow: Only funny to me, I'm sure. :D
